Essential functions include, but is not limited to:
• Represent development initiatives throughout the company, ensuring initiatives are understood, communicated, globally coordinated, and prioritized in accordance to corporate needs. Design, develop, and lead product development assignments within the global organization. Complete assigned projects on time and within budget and ensures KPI/M's are established; as well as tracking mechanisms for each project.
• Acts as immediate interface and relationship builder with client (internal and external). Communicate continuously on the status of the project with client and key Stakeholders ensuring all are aware of status and any issues. Ensure projects follow prescribed Accelerator development method and achieves stated hurdle rates.
• Lead team members towards completion of projects ensuring they know their assigned tasks and deadlines and complete their work. Ensure a true cross-functional team environment exists and the team members produce prescribed development deliverables.
• Ensure each project includes a transition plan to implement into the business and this plan is completed and the new product, service, or club is running within the operation appropriately prior to shut down of the project. Complete a post mortem for each project.
• Develop leadership skills in direct reports through a combination of methods to include leading by example, mentoring, providing feedback and creating growth opportunities.
• Analyze and track past projects impact and value addition to the business as initially determined in the Key Performance Indicators and Measures for the approved project.


Qualifications:

Minimum Experience required:

• 4-year college degree required - business/management or related field; graduate degree preferred - MBA or related field.
• 5+ Years in Product/Business Development role within the travel industry at a management level; Preferred - 5+ years of operational experience at a management level specifically within the timeshare industry.
• Foreign language skills desired; financial acumen; proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including MS Project and Visio
• Travel is up to 50% of the time (domestic and international travel).

Additional qualifications and skills desired:

• Strategic planning, budgeting, large-scale product or project management and technological knowledge are all preferred.
