Primary Responsibilities

• Administers financial systems applications in support of Finance division reporting objectives
• Oversee and manage the month end close process and insure the timely load and validation of data between finance systems and databases
• Develop systems solutions and modify or upgrade existing systems procedures as required
• Develop systems documentation in support of business policies and procedures
• Perform quality assurance testing of the financial systems
• Conduct beta testing, develop test cases and manage the test environment
• Co-ordinate problem resolution with Hyperion and/or other software vendor technical support and the IT department
• Liaison between the IT and Finance department to achieve mutual goals
• Responsible for configuration, testing, end user support, and security
• Participate in the migration from the current reporting OLAP database onto Hyperion Essbase
• Support the Finance division with integration of new company acquisitions and business reorganizations
• Assist in providing global database support to the finance user community in the US and international offices

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 4 years Financial Systems support experience
• Previous experience with financial system project implementations
• Experience with financial systems and procedures, data verification and a solid understanding of financial statements and concepts
• Knowledge and experience with Hyperion Applications; Hyperion Essbase, Planning and HFM
• Experience with writing system scripts with EssCmd and MaxL and proficient with VBA and excel code
• Some knowledge of Oracle Financials applications would be highly regarded
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to interact with and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Detail oriented and process improvement focused
