Description:
Provide HR support to client groups with minimal supervision. This support would include complex/sensitive employee relations, job definition/organizational restructuring, compensation planning and administration, performance management, change management, and decision support on the human capital dimension of the business. Partner with clients to build capabilities and achieve business results.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Strong emphasis on developing a strong partnership with the client to lead initiatives building outstanding capabilities in staffing, employee engagement and organizational/talent development.
· Through this close partnership with both management and employees, this senior generalist will analyze and measure current HR practices and recommend and implement best practices.
· Manage the succession planning and talent management process, conduct new employee on-boarding, and manage all employee litigation/dispute resolution for their business groups.
· Partner with the Human Resources Centers of Excellence and Shared Services groups to deliver seamless, outstanding full service delivery to clients.
· Has shared responsibility with clients on building great leadership capabilities and business results.
QUALIFICATIONS/WORK EXPERIENCE:
· 7+ years of HR experience with significant time spent supporting various business units (e.g. Marketing, R&D, IT) in a generalist capacity.
· Strong technical leadership capabilities.
· Experience in organization design/restructuring, change management, and compensation planning and administration.
· Demonstrated ability in complex employee relations/performance management matters.
· Strong business and analytical ability with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence different groups.
· Superior communications skills and high-energy required.
· Accustomed to working with senior management.
· Results oriented with strong training and facilitation skills.
· Experience managing/administering performance management and compensation planning.
Proven track record of success in positive client services.
