RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop systematic approaches to solving problems faced daily in conducting Investment Advisory Services business, ranging from applying enhancements to existing framework or implementing completely new functionality.
Working closely with Financial Advisors to assess the needs and desires of various end-users of Investment Advisory Services products and services and subsequently assigning priority.
Working closely with Information Technology counterparts from crafting the Business Requirements through implementation.
Lead/coordinate/drive efforts among various groups (both internally and externally) to analyze, develop and implement new systems and/or services – ultimately providing the “high end” tool that improves the way the Financial Consultant is able to conduct business.
Organize, plan and communicate project status to team members and management.
Work on all forms of applications ranging from mainframe infrastructure to web based intranet applications.

Qualifications
· 4 year degree
8 to 10 years of experience driving technology initiatives in the financial services industry
Strong project management and organizational skills
Investment Advisory product knowledge a plus
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the systems development life cycle.
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Meet predetermined deadlines
Anticipate, identify and resolve problems
