Evaluate, design and maintain processes and systems in support of HR function and overall business requirements. Implement technical enhancements and upgrades to HR and related systems. Act on behalf of the Orthopaedics as a member of cross-divisional teams in support of Corporate system initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform maintenance of Lawson, KRONOS and other HR systems to include security, data entry, configuration and auditing.
Continuously evaluate methods of data collection and maintenance; identify and implement efficiencies; measure, monitor and validate success of implementations.
Conduct end-user, Super User and Systems Administrator training for Lawson and KRONOS.
Develop, integrate and ensure effective maintenance of interfaces and data feeds to new and existing systems.
Act as liaison to IT, Payroll, Corporate, Divisional users in Ireland, and other interested business units on system-related issues.
Drive HR systems enhancements, implementations and upgrades required by changing business needs.
Perform routine audits of all HR systems and processes to maintain high level of data integrity; lead root cause analysis and identify resolutions for problematic practices.
Develop complex queries and reports integrating multiple sources of data.
Analyze and improve workflow within HR to increase efficiency.
Mentor, train, provide counsel to and assign tasks to HRIS and Sr. HRIS analysts and other team members.
Represent and make decisions on behalf of Orthopaedics (Domestic and Europe) as a member of implementation teams for Company-wide system initiatives.
Communicate the progress/impact of corporate systems initiatives to affected teams in Orthopaedics; gain necessary buy-in, support and resources.
Translate corporate systems/data requirements into an executable plan, and manage this plan to completion.
Cross-train and demonstrate expert proficiency on all HRIS tasks to include entering, reporting, headcount, Tuition Reimbursement, and Organization Charting.
Continually assess HR Shared Services metrics for accuracy, ease of collection, and relevancy. Ensure Divisional metrics (headcount, turnover etc) are delivered by prescribed deadlines.
Drive the Division’s annual/mid-year Common Review processes (merit/bonus).
Continually monitor HR/Client information needs and design new/modify existing systems to meet changing requirements.
Recommend new equipment or software in support of HR objectives.
Develop effective relationships and partner with other areas of the business.
Continually evaluate contents of the HR Intranet site; implement site upgrades and monitor site usage to validate relevancy.
Cross-train on compensation, benefit and employee services functions; lead or contribute to employee programs.

Qualifications:

5+ years HRIS analysis experience
Prior demonstrated success as a project leader/manager, delivering complex/broad scope projects, software implementations and/or upgrades.
Demonstrated ability as a skilled communicator who can persuade/influence and negotiate.
Demonstrated expertise in HR process improvement.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple/simultaneous tasks; demonstrated success in prioritizing and delivering tasks/projects independently and through others.
Demonstrated proficiency in a customer service role; demonstrated ability to determine customer needs, define customer requirements, develop/validate solutions and deliver service in a demanding business/employment environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems/ processes/issues, determine appropriate solutions, and effectively resolve sensitive/high-profile problems.
Advanced formal training in key software and systems, including Lawson (or similar HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, ADP (or similar Payroll system), KRONOS (or similar Timekeeping system) and Crystal Reports. PHR or CCP certification preferred.

Note - Lawson is the current HRIS system, but we're moving to Oracle.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
