Description:

a) Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility

In line with Corporate recruitment policies, ensure the provision of best practice policies and process guidelines to Management on the selection, interviewing and assessment of potential candidates.
Review, monitor and control the recruitment plan and operations for the U.S. to ensure that the recruitment effort and activities are aligned to the Global and local company business projection.

Maintain the pipeline of qualified candidates for the MD population and critical management positions and ensure that employees hired have the capability and perspective for further career growth within the firm.

Build the long-term management expertise in the firm, through the centralized recruitment and orientation of young professionals and establishing local links with leading universities/business schools in the U.S.

Select and manage a limited number of qualified Recruitment Agencies and Assessment Providers, for the supply and assessment of (potential) management & professional candidates.

Ensure that the hiring needs (given scope and target group) of the firm's entities are met in time, at the right quality level

Develop Employer brand: Ensuring that the firm secures its position as preferred employer and employer of choice, in the local markets through targeted branding.

Ensuring the equitable and professional fair treatment of all candidates, whilst promoting the firm's diversity principles

In line with corporate policy, implement the Company's preferred recruitment tools, systems and processes (incl. E-recruitment) and assuring phased local implementation.

Follow and respond to external developments and maintain appropriate external network. Advise Management of (international) labor market trends, which could impact on our ability to resource key positions.

Develop and coach recruiters and assure their personal development
- Ensure that a comprehensive orientation process is in place for all new hires.

- Closely cooperate with the management development manager regarding external hiring and nomination of management development program candidates in the U.S.

b) Authorities

Pre-screen, reject & select candidates (unsolicited or on vacancies) for interviews

Select candidates for recognized business courses and internships

Contract management of recruitment service providers and Young Academics.

Expenditure of the approved budget.


C) Requirements:

- A University graduate or above, English or HR related major preferred, should have at least 5 to 7 years solid relevant experience in MNC or HR Consulting firm, focus on recruitment function;

- A progressive career in either Human Resources and/or Recruitment and preferably experienced in assessments. Ideally made career steps in a multinational organization(s) with a strong brand.

- Extensive knowledge of HR general procedure and experienced in HR-related market research;

- Strong track record in conducting professional interviews at the management levels across a diverse range of disciplines

- Having demonstrated the ability to help a company improve operational (recruitment) performance and experienced in building and implementing international processes

- Experience of interacting and conversing with the most senior levels of the organization.

- Strong network with services firms, and other industrial companies preferred;

- Be able to work independently with the high integrity and commercial acumen and strategic awareness;

- Should be a driver of change who possess the ability to operate effectively in a matrix/indirect leadership environment;

- Excellent oral and written English and Mandarin; excellent communication/ interpersonal and coordination skills;

- Should be responsible, self-initiative, innovative and willing to help.
